64 cents of every venture dollar now goes to AI

AI startups took 64% of all global venture funding in Q3 2026.

AI startups took $102B of the $159B invested in global venture funding in Q3 2026, or 64%. A record 27 rounds of $1B or more accounted for around a third of all venture dollars. Total funding was up 53% on Q3 2025 ($104B) but down 25% from Q2 ($212B).
