AI Now Pays TSMC 3.2× What Phones Do

AI and high-performance computing now bring TSMC 3.2 times the revenue share of smartphones.

TSMC now earns 68% of its revenue from AI and high-performance computing, versus 21% from smartphones. A year earlier the split was 57% to 30%, so the AI-to-phone ratio has gone from 1.9× to 3.2× in twelve months. Revenue hit US$46.72B in the September 2026 quarter, up 41.2% year on year.
